Donald Bennett

Don grew up in Massillon, OH and has been involved in various youth ministries over the years. He served a church in Paynesville, MN for two years, and was on the staff at Lutheran Memorial Camp for multiple years. Don has been in his position at Good Shepherd for nine years.
 
Don and his wife, Paula, reside in Kettering and have one son and daughter still at home and one daughter attending Capital University.

David Keener

David Keener

David Keener has resided in the Dayton area all of his life. He received his bachelor’s degree from the College Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati. While working on his graduate degree, he studied with the world-renowned conductor, Robert Shaw. He toured Europe as an assistant conductor of the American Youth Band and Chorus. He has guest conducted the Wright State Wind Symphony several times in Dayton as well as on tour in Japan. David taught both vocal and instrumental music for 37 years in public schools where he achieved numerous State Superior ratings with both bands and choirs. He also taught 9 years in the music department at Wright State University. He has been the director of the Middletown Civic Chorus, the Salem Lutheran Church choir, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church choir and for the past three years the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church choir.

Deb DeVilbiss

Deb DeVilbiss

Deb DeVilbiss is a native Daytononian. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio, with degrees in both elementary education and elementary music education, as well as a Masters’ Degree from University of Dayton. She taught thirty-two years in the Centerville City Schools, recently retired. Deb’s musical background includes piano, organ, and vocal training, and she has served as organist/ pianist in many area churches. Her passion has become the wealth of contemporary Christian songs that enables her to lead worship here at Good Shepherd. Deb currently lives in Miamisburg.

Deborah Macaulay

Deborah Macaulay

Deborah grew up in northwest Iowa. She received a bachelor's degree from Calvin College in 1976 and a Masters of Music in piano performance from the University of Colorado in 1980.  She has served as a church organist since the age of 12.

Deborah teaches a full studio of Suzuki piano students at her home in Kettering.

Linda Newcomer

Linda Newcomer

Linda Newcomer has lived in Dayton all her life. She graduated from University of Dayton with a Master's degree in Communication and also achieved a certificate in Lay Pastoral Ministry from the Athenaeum in Cincinnati.

Linda and her husband live in Kettering with their daughter. Their son teaches and lives in Piqua.
