WELCA Mission: Growth
To provide a variety of learning experiences that strengthen each woman as a whole person, develop her potential, and equip her for ministry.
Ministry Opportunities:
Bible Study Circles
There are five women's Bible Study Circles that meet monthly. Circles
use the prepared Bible Study series provided through Lutheran
Women Today magazine.
Esther Circle meets the second Monday of each month, 6:30 p.m.
in homes.
Ruth Circle meets the second Tuesday of each month, 9:15 a.m. in
homes.
Dorcas Circle meets the second Wednesday of each month, Noon in
homes.
Mary Circle meets the second Thursday of each month, 9:15 a.m.
in the church lounge.
Naomi Circle meets the second Thursday of each month, 7 p.m. in
homes.
Women's Retreat
An overnight women's retreat is offered each September.
Thankoffering Service
A special church service is developed and conducted by women each November.
Participants bring Thankofferings, which are used to support WELCA
projects.
