President Debbie Kempf was born in Dayton and has lived in the area most of her life. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Kettering University/GMI), a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (University of Dayton), and a Master’s degree in Information Technology (Kettering University). Vice-President Ed grew up in St. Henry, Ohio. He has an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been working in the Dayton area for 27 years. Contact Ed Thieman for information about the council. |

Secretary Ardith Hurst Hargrave was born in Princeton, Illinois and grew up in Peru, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Illinois where she majored in Elementary Education. She has done post-graduate work at Miami of Ohio and Wright State University. Ardith taught for thirty-eight years, the last thirty-five years in the Kettering City Schools. Treasurer June moved to the Dayton area 25 years ago after graduating from Michigan State University. She received her MBA from the University of Dayton. June and her husband, Kevin, reside in Kettering with their son and daughter. Contact June Newell for information about the council. |

Member Becky is currently the Assistant Director of the Counseling Center at the University of Dayton. She has lived in the area for over eight years, having moved here from northern Indiana. Contact Becky Cook for information about the council. |

Member Connie was born and raised in Cleveland and attended Miami University. She worked at Miami Valley Hospital for many years and continues to volunteer there. Connie and her husband have lived in Dayton for over 30 years and have five children. They have attended Good Shepherd ever since they first moved here.
