Our Purpose
As a community of women, created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the participants commit themselves to grow in faith, affirm their gifts, support one another in their callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.

Who We Are
Good Shepherd Women of the ELCA is an organization of women of varying ages, backgrounds and interests brought together to fulfill individual ministries within Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Every female member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a member of Women of the ELCA.

Through our three mission areas, Action, Growth and Community, and during special program events, women are enabled to serve, witthness, learn and lead others in activities that promote spiritual growth , ministry in Jesus Christ, and women's fellowship.
